Welcome to The Meeting Northwest
The idea behind The Meeting started in Eugene, Oregon as a way for musicians to come together in order to share thoughts, ideas and general creativity. We weren't there for it though, so we've done something else. We are a non-profit, needs-based idea and capitol generation engine focused largely on local music and those involved in the music scene. Bringing everyone together and supporting those who do the same. Please consider following us on Twitter as we continue to deliver updates from the music community. What you'll find on this site is a calendar of concerts and events taking place in and around Spokane, Washington. Our coverage includes venues from Spokane to Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The Spokane Music Calendar is currently undergoing a complete remodel. When it makes its return, we are willing to list any shows from anyone who is willing to let us know about them. We have a growing database of bands who are either from this part of the Northwest or have played in the area as far back as December 2007. While it may be in need of some terrific editing, the total is approximately 1,900. Are you listed?
